Shaanxi Yanchang Coal Yulin Energy and Chemical restarted its polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) units in Shanxi Province in the middle of September after over a month-long maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday. The PE and PP units were shut down in early August, and the shutdown lasted for about 36 to 39 days, the source added.
