A six-month feasibility study is underway at Adelaide-based Liebherr Australia to determine whether it is possible to manufacture Wiseda mining trucks in Australia. Liebherr acquired the US truck maker earlier this year to complement its existing hydraulic shovel business, but the firm's operations are too small to handle what Liebherr obviously expects to be a major increase in demand worldwide.
