摘要

A journal editor's work includes receiving papers, ensuring journal suitability, facilitating peer-review process, and giving a decision, with internet having made theiauthor-editor-reviewer interface more interactive. To survive cut-throat competition, journals often boast of faster reviews, attracting authors to submit their works, realizing little that this could be just another unethical trap!I had first-hand experience of submitting a paper to a journal. This paper with equal contribution from three authors remained submitted to the journal for months before review and acceptance. While we eagerly waited for paper-proofs, we were shocked when only one of us got the journal's print-issue and was mentioned as the paper's sole-author.
