Combined effect of rodenticides and traps were evaluated at different growth stages of rice against field rodents in terms of live burrow count (LBC/ha), trap index (TI) as well as % cut tillers in both boro and sali rice, respectively. Among different treatments, bromadiolone (0.005%) at panicle initiation stage and bamboo traps at milky stage was found effective in reduction of live burrow (77.4 & 80.2%), trap incfex (65.8 & 70.6%) and cut tillers (63.0 & 67.2%) in boro and sali rice, respectively.This was followed by bamboo traps at maximum tillering stage and bromadiolone (0.005%) at panicle initiation stage which recorded (70.6 & 71.8%) reduction of live burrow, (60.9&67.0%) reduction in trap index and (56.2 & 63.4%) reduction in cut tillers in both boro and sali rice, respectively. Baiting with Zinc phosphide (2.0%) at panicle initiation stage followed by bamboo traps at milky stage reduced LBC/ha and trap index to67.4 and 52.1%, respectively in boro rice. Whereas, in sali rice, the reduction percentage in respect of LBC/ha and trap index was 64.2 and 60.9%, respectively.
