International investors target cattle companies

Once again, the Australian Agricultural Company (AAco) holds the title of Australia's largest beef cattle owner, and with 497,000 catde on the books it is almost 170,000 ahead of its nearest rival. Quite an achievement when it is recognised that during the past 12 months, the company lost access to almost one million hectares with the sale of properties and incurred abnormally high stock losses due to severe flooding in the Gulf.
