Winter crop prospects uncertain

Australian grain growers had a marvelous opportunity presented to them. World wheat and feed grain supplies are low and have pushed grain prices to about twice what there were before the run of Australian droughts. Northern Hemisphere winter crops arebeing harvested now, and the spring wheat crops will come in soon, followed by the summer crops, dominated by corn and soybeans.
