Heat singes sorghum

It used to be that crops sown in the summer rainfall areas used to receive a solid rain every two weeks. But the pattern has been quite different this year. Rains fell in October and continued into early December. Since then there have mostly been irregular storm rains. This has caused a major reduction in sorghum production forecasts with the greatest reductions expected in Central Queensland and in the Liverpool Plains area of New South Wales.
