Basin issues and direction on video

VIDEOTAPE and television are the most efficient mediums of communication to reach large numbers of people over vast areas. Video plays a key part in the Murray-Darling Basin Commission's communication program which must reach clients throughout the one million square kilometre Murray-Darling Basin. While the primary target for the Commission's communications and education program is the Basin population, it must also address Australians outside of the region (capital city dwellers, students, taxpayers, opinion leaders) to obtain their support for a sus-tainable Murray-Darling Basin.
