Using roses in the garden

Roses are versatile plants. There are miniature roses that are so small they are known as micro-minis and, at the other end of the scale, huge rambling roses which are almost big enough to have engulfed Sleeping Beauty's castle. In between the big andthe small of the rose world are shrubs of all sizes, standards and, of course, climbing roses. Climbing roses are to my mind among the most beautiful of all roses. They can be grown on arches, over walls, up pillars and along fences. They can cover sheds or a pergola.
