Automatic software development of real-time-systems for compact and process controllers

摘要

In many automation devices e.g. compact and process controllers the possibilities of the hardware and the "state of the art" in control theory are often unsatisfactory used. A main reason is to be seen in the effort necessary for softwaredevelopment. Modern methods and flexible device structures are seldom used in practical applications. Using powerful software development tools, prepacted software moduls (e.g. scalable RTOS) and powerful controller hardware demanding user specificcontrollers may be generated within a short time. Such a software tool was developed at the TU Ilmenau: is called "Digital-Control-Creator (DCC)" and running under WINDOW* Exemplary applications were built for controllers of the 805]-family. The wholedesign even including the development of the user inter(ace of the controller may be done graphicialy using DCC.
