ELDERS beef cattle producer clients can market from paddock to plate through the recently upgraded Charlton feedlot. At the opening of the custom feeding 'intelligent feedlot', Elders managing director David Hills said producers are being offered a new range of marketing options, including the ability to supply demanding export markets. "Using the state-of-the-art facilities at Charlton, producers will be able to maximise returns by targeting their cattle to a particular market much more precisely than they can with grassfed production systems," Hills said.
