TESLA was one of the first brands to make EVs desirable, and it now uses its signature grille-free fascia and small, angular headlights to deliver a minimalism that's not unlike the VW's, in principle at least. The Model Y's overall shape isn't as chunky as many electric SUVs. In fact, it's so similar to the platform-sharing Model 3 saloon in profile and detailing, that we can't help wishing Tesla had been a little more creative in trying to set its two most popular models apart.
