'Offshore thunder' and 'Offshore Lightning Elite Marine storms ahead with striking pair of OSVs

Hot on the heels of a string of iconic vessels for Rio Tinto, Western Australian catamaran specialist Elite Marine has recently delivered a pair of multi-purpose crew utility vessels to local marine services provider Australian Offshore Solutions. Measuring 22.9 metres in length, with a beam of 8.5 metres and a draught of 0.9 metres, these interesting vessels have a strong emphasis on utility. A pair of Caterpillar C18 engines powers the craft, each rated at 651kW and driving Hamilton 571 water jets.
