37TH ANNUAL SEMINAR OF THE JOINT MINERALOGICAL SOCIETIES OF AUSTRALASIA

摘要

The Seminar was held on 31 October and 1 November 2014 at Te Rau Aroha, Waihi Beach on the Bay of Plenty about 2 hours by car south-east of Auckland. It was the same location as the first New Zealand Seminar held in 2007. Offshore, Mayor Island is visible where the rare species of tuhualite is found. The meeting was preceded by the 32nd Micro-mineral Symposium organised by the New Zealand Micro-mineral Group. There were 33 registrations from New Zealand residents and 15 from Australia.
