摘要

Adolescent schoolchildren do not participate in school meals to the extent that would be desirable from a social and health policy perspective in the context of the all-day program [1-4]. To find out the background and to derive possibilities for improvement, schoolchildren in schools with a comparatively high level of satisfaction with catering were interviewed in qualitative focus groups. This article describes the characteristics and conditions of successful school catering from the schoolchildren's point of view, the needs that secondary schoolchildren express with regard to their lunchtime meals, and the expectations they derive from this for those responsible for catering and for themselves and their fellow schoolchildren.
