Toyobo to Manufacture and Market 'Dow XLA' Fiber in Japan

Toyobo Co.,Ltd.and Dow Fiber Solutions (DPS) of The Dow Chemical Company have reached an agreement on Toyobo's exclusive rights to manufacture and market "Dow XLA" elastic fiber in Japan."Dow XLA" elastic fiber,the world's first olefinic-based and next-generation elastic fiber,will be produced for the Japanese market by combining Dow's proprietary technology and polymer science with Toyobo's highly-recognized spinning technology.
