Worsted wool yarn prices quoted by Japanese-affiliated spinning firms in China have made slow movements from the end of last year to this February.As a result,these prices are at a standstill at 1,100 yen/kg for 48-count two ply yarn and 1,200 yen for 60-count two ply yarn,virtually the same as two months ago.On an annual basis for 2005,it is expected that the supply will dip by 4.7% and the demand will also drop by 8.1%.It still appears that no brake has been applied to the downtrend of domestic demand.
