Core yarn is produced all over the world on an increasing number of ring spinning frames. In the past, demand for core yarn was dictated by strongly fluctuating trends in fashion. Over the last ten years,however, this segment has made a strong comeback, particularly with elastic filament cores. Rieter's "ComforSpin" process now allows the manufacture of even fine compact-core yarn of the highest quality.
