Ever wonder what the beef industry will look like in 10 years? If you are curious, I would strongly recommend you mark March 27 and 28 on your calendar - The Maritime Beef Council will hold a conference at the Moncton Delta Hotel to imagine the futureof the beef industry.The conference's theme is "Beef2025 - Moving Forward." I think the theme is fitting for the moment. The mood in the industry is positive, and now is the time to consider where the industry may be 10 years from now. There are many positive opportunities in the years ahead; however, we must realize things will change. Some of these changes will include how we do business, raise ourcattle, select our cattle, and meet our customers' expectations. The line-up of speakers at this conference will most certainly try to answer many of these questions.
