According to the announced consolidated business performance of five Japanese fiber producers during the first half of the current fiscal year (April-September 2015), net sales increased year-on-year for Toray Industries, Inc.; Teijin Limited; and Toyobo Co., Ltd. All of the five producers succeeded in increasing their operating profits. In their fiber and textile business, four of the producers increased their sales, and all five of them increased their profits in this segment. Toray reported another record-breaking business performance on a consolidated basis and in its fiber and textile business.
