Rieter Sells Shares in Rieter-LMW Machinery

On April I st, Rieter signed a contract for selling all of its shares in Indian joint-venture Rieter-LMW Machinery Ltd. (RLM) to Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd. The closing of the transaction is expected to take place in August 201 I, and RLM will continue production for Rieter until June 30, 2011. The parties agreed not to disclose details of the transaction.
