It is likely that Itochu (Thailand) Ltd.will register figures equal to the preceding year's in both sales and profits for the fiscal year ending in March 2006.According to Kunita Fukuwa,Vice President,"The number of visitors to Thailand from various countries increased,but much business did not materialize." Feeling the risk of over-concentration on China,many visitors came to Itochu in Thailand,but it was difficult to make a compromise on price and delivery in many cases.Especially,in the case of women's apparel,business negotiations did not make progress because frequently it was hard to arrange a compromise on delivery.
