BP pushes ahead with Tangguh LNG expansion

BP and its partners have made a final investment decision to expand the 7.6mn t/ yr Tangguh LNG plant, in Indonesia’s West Papua province. The project will add a third 3.8mn t/yr processing train at the facility, boosting total capacity to 11.4mn t/yr. Operations are expected to begin at the end of this decade.
