Gazprom to take Dutch storage capacity

Abu Dhabi state-run energy invest- ment firm Taqa will give Gazprom long-term capacity rights at its 4.1bn m3 Bergermeer storage site in the Netherlands in exchange for an undis- closed VOLume of cushion gas (see p4). Taqa says it will offer Gazprom 70- 120 days of withdrawal capacity and 90-120 days of injection at Bergermeer under a long-term contract. For its part, Gazprom will supply part of the 4.6bn m3 of cushion gas needed to sustain operational pressure at Bergermeer.
