Workers from the Dead Sea Works are still on strike, as are those for the bromine plant - the strike began on 19 Feb- ruary. If it ran for two months, as some suggested, about 650,000t MOP would not be produced. The Dead Sea Works is ICL’s only site which produces white MOP, as well as being best situated to serve eastern markets.
