With a day of January still to go, February production of DAP/MAP is more or less fully committed (see table above). There is some length with traders holding Russian and Saudi MAP and DAP for Brazil. But producer attention has already switched to March shipment. For now, Brazilian MAP demand, DAP shipments into Europe and more DAP/MAP to Australia (now shipping from China under the new tax regime) mean there is scant February availability, compounded by continual loading delays in North Africa and reports of production issues in Saudi Arabia.
