The Middle East spot price rose by nearly$50/t this week, with Yara purchasing a 25,000t spot cargo from Sabic at$583/t fob-a$48/t increase on the high-end price published last week.In addition,Trammo confirmed this week that it bought a 23,000t cargo last week from Sabic at$545/t fob.The subsequent purchase by Yara a few days later at the sharply higher price this week suggests that there is some urgent purchasing currently taking place,and Sabic says it will now be looking to achieve over$600/t fob for the limited remaining tonnage it has available for October.
