Fertilizer producer Vale has secured around two thirds of its 4Q sulphur requirement. Prices in the $80-82/t cfr range have been indicated by the buy-side and Black Sea prices are also reported on an fob basis equivalent to near $80/t cfr Santos. There are also reports that Vale has secured a Mediterranean cargo under contract for 4Q delivery, thought to be tonnes from Spain.
