E-Learning Training Programmme on 'Basic Metallurgy of Steel Castings'

The Centre for Education & Training (CET) organised their monthly E-Learning workshop on "Basic Metallurgy of Steel Castings" on May 6, 2022. Dr P S Banerjee, CET Controller of Examination, former professor and Head of Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering of erstwhile Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpore, (now IIEST), mesmerised the participants in the training programme with his command over the subject. Prior to pursuing academia, Dr Banerjee worked in various departments of Bokaro Steel Plant, Foundry Division of Durgapur Steel Plant and was associated with research projects in the defence and steel sector.
