Demands to reduce vehicle weight are becoming stronger, making weight increases due to road noisecountermeasures a great problem. However, market demand for silence is also increasing. Underthese conditions, every component related to road noise is expected to be lighter as well as to offerhigher road noise performance. This paper introduces development methods for some of thesecomponents through a number of experiments.
