Advanced technology as to recycling of aluminum scrap materials

摘要

To promote the recycling of aluminum scrap into aluminum wrought alloys as an advanced recycling process so-called "Product to Product", refining technology of removing metallic impurities from aluminum scrap has been developed. This technology is now under demonstration study. There is hopeful prospect for practical application of the refining technology to a production plant with the output of some 500～1000 t/month scale.
