Display requirements of various information are very important to the ETC system user to safetyreceive the benefits of its effects. In this thesis, vehicle travelling tests were conducted under variousconditions assumed in actual travel by using 4 types of vehicle-mounted means of providinginformation consisting of LED, sound, LCD display and voice. Optimum conditions for providinginformation with vehicle mounted devices and characteristics of means of providing variousinformation were obtained in addition to their order of superiority.
