Mongolia's parliament, the State Ih Hural and government resolved to review the effects of mining companies on nature and the environment and to will crackdown on mining companies issuing false environmental assessment reports. The government will also ensure that gold mining companies pay their environment restoration fees when they deliver their gold to the cenbtral bank, Mongolbank, Environment Minister U Barsbold, said after touring Selenge and Darhan-Uul districts (June 8).Sharyn Gol coal mine has produced a nine-year project on "restoring nature", with costs calculated at 1.7bn tugriks.
