Busy Modec expands base

Floating production and storage solutions provider Modec has expanded its presence in Singapore and at the same time co-located two divisions - Modec Management Services (MMS) and Modec Offshore Production Systems (MOPS) - that previously had separate offices in the island republic. MMS, headed by Naomasa Kosaka, general manager of Modec Singapore, is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the company's floating production storage and offloading units (FPSO) and floating storage and offloading (FSO) units in Southeast Asia and Oceania. MOPS, headed by Sateesh Dev, is responsible for the engineering, procurement and construction and installation of these vessels.
