摘要

The simulation program of the piston slap impact noise has been developed with paying attention tothe simple modeling. The conventional two-dimensional calculation model was used, and thehydrodynamic effects of the oil film were introduced to improve the calculation accuracy. Thecalculation results were compared with the actual piston motion, and it was confirmed that thecalculation was sufficient for the precise estimation of the piston slap noise. The first applicationshows the optimum design approach to minimizing the piston slap impact, and the second oneexplains the influences of the combustion excitation to the piston slap noise.
