A new fabrcation yard has been established on Batam Island,Indonesia,by SMOE,the Singapore-based offshore engineering division of SembCorp Utilities.The first project has been marked with a steel cutting ceremony for two bridges weighing 150t and 416t respectively,sub-components for the Idd El Shargi North Dome phase two expasnion project,which is currently being constructed in Singapore.
