BP and RWE Dea have signed agreements with the Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Egyptian General Petroleum Corp to develop discoveries in the North Alexandria and West Mediterranean Deepwater concessions. BP expects production from the West Nile Delta development will reach lbcf/d. The first phase will develop an estimated 5tcf of gas and associated condensate through subsea development of five fields into a new purpose-built onshore gas plant.
