Crane fame for Raffles

Yantai Raffles picked up an award at Houston's OTC '08 in May for the Taisun crane, a fixed dual-beam crane completed in last November at the company's Shandong Province shipyard. The massive structure, which has a lifting capacity of 20,000t, received the Woelfel Best Mechanical Engineering Achievement award from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers-International Petroleum Technology Institute (ASME-IPTI).
