In highly complex,stacked and multi-layer reservoirs,conventional formation evaluation can be challenging due to the thin bed nature of the hydrocarbon bearing formations.Basic formation evaluation consists of resistivity and porosity data acquired via LWD or wireline logs to locate hydrocarbon intervals.
