An explosion on a section of pipeline in Turkey carrying gas from the BP-led Shah Deniz project in Azerbaijan’s sector of the Caspian Sea has stopped flows, according to reports. The blast occurred on the line on Monday 24 August, Reuters reported, citing Turkish energy officials.
