Present situations and future prospects of tantalum capacitors supporting information technology industries

Major application of tantalum, one of the rare metals, is to the capacitors. Tantalum capacitors are widely used for mobile phones, telecom infra-structure equipments and automobile equipments. And it is indispensable for these miniaturized equipments. This article describes the trend of tantalum capacitors and presents new niobium capacitors.
