CHINESE salt prices are expected to stay firm in 2005 as supply is forecast to remain tight throughout 2005 and possibly even in 2006.China faced a severe shortfall in supply in the fourth quarter of 2004,and it looks like the situation is not going to improve in the next twelve months,said Gary Price,business director of Ginko Industrial Supply.
