Styrene predicted to stay firm

Asian styrene producers were banking on tight supply and strong demand to keep styrene spot prices firm in the fourth quarter,although Chinese buyers were last week resisting offers of USS1350-1360/ tonne cfr China for October shipments.Industry players expected prices to increase to USUS1400-1410/tonne cfr China after the Chinese National Day holidays because Chinese buyers will have to replenish their inventories.
