BAHRAIN Petroleum Co (Bapco) is considering a polyethylene (PE)-polypropylene (PP) project in Bahrain,an industry source told ACN.The project could include a cracker to provide feedstock for the plants,said the source.The company has yet to decide on the capacities and location of the plants.The source said that in order to ensure that the plants were competitive,the capacity of each plant should be between 300 000 and 700 000 tonne/year.The output would mainly serve the export market.
