Test method of vehicle exterior noise taking account of urban running condition

摘要

Test method of noise emitted by an accelerating vehicle (ISO 362) has been used internationally and widely. However, it has been pointed not that the running condition in the test method is not suitable for the urban running condition. Therefore, ISO/TC43/SC1/WG42 is developing a new test method for the accelerating-vehicle noise taking account of the running condition in urban roads. This report describes the running conditions in urban roads and the new test method of the accelerating-vehicle noise.
