Analyses of gas flow, combustion and spray in SI engine

The characteristics measurement of fuel spray and the numerical calculations of flow and combustion in the combustion chamber of an engine were carried out for the purpose of improving combustion of SI engines. In measurement, using air-assistinjector, the characteristics of fuel spray affected by the pressure of assisting air were investigated. In numerical calculation. the characteristics of turbulence and combustion affected rotational gas flow were investigated.
