New Measuring Method of Electrooculogram for Analysis of Battery model of the Eyeball

The resting potential existed around the eye (electrooculogram: EOG) can be analyzed by applying a battery model to the eyeball. These potentials are measured as the interelectrodes potentials and are applied to the electrophysiological test. In this report, we tried to analyze the EOG in detail by detecting the resting potentials on individual electrode based on assumption the body as a cathode. As a result, it became clear that the potentials of the outer canthus were measured as the reverse potentials against the inner canthus with same direction of eye movements. Above results suggests that there is a new viewpoint when we analyze EOG in detail.
