Opec production rose slightly in October, as higher output, particularly from Libya, offset declines from Nigeria and Iraq (see below). “Supply and demand are balanced, inventories will possibly go down in the winter,” a Mideast Gulf Opec delegate says. “Libyan crude will return slowly and the market will absorb it.”
