Prices consolidate above S80/bl

Oil prices continued to consolidate, keeping above $807bl in the first half of October.Atlantic basin marker North Sea Dated dipped slightly, as oil fields returned to full capacity after scheduled maintenance. The benchmark shed 150/bl to close at $83.61/bl in the week to 14 October. But US benchmark WTI gained just over $l/bl to close at $82.69/bl.
