December diesel hike at Primorsk

Exports of 10ppm sulphur diesel from Russia’s Baltic port of Primorsk are scheduled at 1.26mn t in December, up by 11pc from the November plan on an average daily basis, reflecting higher production at several refineries. Lukoil will see the sharpest increase in loadings, supplying 222,000t, up from just 40,000t in November, when deliveries fell because of unscheduled maintenance at the company’s 290,000 b/d Perm refinery. Rosneft will export 180,000t from the port, up from 110,000t last month, following the completion of maintenance at its 340,000 b/d Ryazan refinery. But Rosneft will suspend exports of 10ppm from Bashneft’s Ufa refineries, which it now controls. The refineries will shut their diesel hydrotreatment and catalytic cracking units for maintenance in the first half of December, according to Russia’s energy ministry.
